    Among Guava cultivars like Allahabad Safeda and Lucknow 49 demand for planting material of promising lines like RCGH 7, RCGH 4 and RCGH 1 developed by ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam Meghalaya is huge among the growers. In vegetative propagation, wedge grafting is found as an easy and quick method of guava planting material production under mid hills of Meghalaya. - Category: Agriculture

    T Budding is a commercial method of multiplication in mandarins. But budding success on Khasi mandarin oranges under mid hill conditions (990 msl) is very low (<50%); therefore, soft wood grafting may be used as an alternative method for raising the quality planting material of Khasi mandarin. - Category: Agriculture

    Guava is commercial crop in North-East India. Efficient crop regulation is necessary to increase production and profitability. It relevance is more under mid hill altitude where guava had only one distinct harvest (rainy season).
